Inline Ignition Voltage Reducer for 2 cell Lipo or LIION.
Using Diodes this unit will transform the 8.4v of a fully charged 2 cell Lipo or Liion to approximately 5.9v (under load) at the ignition unit. Should you use your 2 cell Lipo/Liion until the voltage drops to 7.4v at the battery, the igniton unit will still see approx. 4.84v under load from the unit. Rcexl ignitions are warrantied for use with power supply that is under 6.00000v. This unit safely reduces your A123 power for your single or twin spark Rcexl ignition unit. When installing this unit, be sure to support the wire against vibration. Do not bend the shrink wrapped area where the diodes are installed. Comes with two universal servo safety clips.
This voltage reducer for Lipo/Liion is denoted by the red shrink wrap. The voltage reducer for the A123 batteries is denoted by the black shrink wrap.
